Zen Media Labs, Inc. provides Information Technology (IT) services including website development and hosting. Based in Pacific, Missouri, a small town outside St. Louis, the company was founded in February 2007 by Tim Rainey and Carl Schmitz.Zen Media Labs, Inc. is a cutting edge new company with plenty of experience. Raised in Pacific, the founders of have worked for local clients such as the City of Pacific, Pacific Area Chamber of Commerce, Pacific Youth Association, and Baker's Ice Company, Inc., with a combined 12 years of experience in the field. Tim Rainey
President, Co-Founder
Tim became interested in computers at a young age and began working on websites at 13 years old. Tim is knowledgeable of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and AJAX. Since graduating, he has focused on learning new technologies and growing the business. Tim has built websites for a number of local business and organizations; recent additions to his portfolio include Penick Construction and Bell Funeral Home. In addition to developing websites, he provides on-site technical assistance to our clients.
Carl Schmitz
Vice President, Co-Founder
Carl has always been interested in technology and started creating websites at the age of 12. He has years of experience writing HTML, CSS, and coding PHP with MySQL. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Information Science and Technology at Missouri University of Science and Technology, formerly University of Missouri-Rolla. Among the numerous websites Carl has created are recent additions for In-Step Designs and Spencer Office Cleaning. In addition to building websites and providing IT consulting services, he manages the finances and other corporate matters.
